Botanical Name: Phymatosorus Scolopendria

Phymatosorus scolopendria is a species of fern in the family Polypodiaceae, commonly called monarch fern, musk fern, or wart fern. Monarch fern produces spores that are contained inside sori, which are very prominent along the edges and surface of the leaves. These sori give the fern its wart-y appearance and inspired the name Wart Fern.

Care Tips:

  • Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight. 
  • Allow top 2" of soil to dry before watering.
