Description
Botanical Name: Gardenia jasminoides
Gardenias are a tender evergreen shrub with amazingly fragrant flowers and shiny, dark-green leaves. They are native to the tropics and need a bit of extra care to grow their best. Gardenias love humidity so they can be placed outside in their pots during warm summer days.
Approximately: 12" in height
Care tips:
- Prefers bright diffused sunlight, do not expose to direct sun
- Keep soil moist; water thoroughly when soil is dry to touch, draining excess water
- Place in a warm location, avoiding excessive hot and cold areas
