Black Spleenwort Fern
Description
Botanical Name: Asplenium adiantum-nigrum
Asplenium adiantum-nigrum is an evergreen fern. Black spleenwort has a delicate texture but is actually an incredibly rugged little fern! It grows best in rocky, shady spots. It can be found across the globe where other ferns would otherwise wilt, such as along lava flows and on cinder cones of volcanoes.
Approximately 12" in height.
Care Tips:
- Prefers partial shade.
- Check soil with your finger before watering. The top layer of the soil can be slightly dry and the soil below should be a bit moist, but not wet, before watering again.
