A tropical plant that grows up to fifteen feet tall and eight feet wide. Fertilize once a month during spring and summer, growing season.  Alocasias go dormant in winter and the leaves drop.  Alocasia’s are susceptible to spider mites, check the plant periodically. Approximately 37" High. 

  • Place in bright indirect light (no direct sun)
  • Best in well-drained soil, potting mix or crumbly loam
  • Allow the top two to three inches of soil to dry between watering. During the winter they go through a dormancy period and requires less frequent watering’s.
  • The leaves are toxic to humans and animals.
