The Phalaenopsis are one of the most popular vaiety of orchids due to their low-maintenance care, as well as their delicate balance of poise and elegance. Their long-lasting flowers are held on arching branches and open successively.

• Light: Will flourish indoors under normal lighting conditions, with indirect sunlight being the most advantageous (Avoid direct sunlight).
• Water: During the growing season, water the plant once every 7-10 days, or whenever its exposed roots turn silvery white. During the flowering season, cut the water back to every other week. Only water the roots. Keep the flowers and leaves dry. Never let it sit in water (may cause root rot).
• Humidity: They enjoy moist air, with a humidity level of 55-75% being ideal. Suggestion ~ Placing the plant over a tray or dish of water can increase moisture. (Make sure to separate the pot and tray with pebbles or small stones though, to ensure that it does not sit directly in the water).
• Flowers: The long-lasting flowers bloom perfectly for up to three months. The flowering intervals vary with each individual plant. Keep the orchid after it has dropped its flowers. They are easy to care for in this vegetative stage, and will flower many more times, if treated well.
